I want to start this investing online critique out with a story... On a beautiful late spring afternoon, twenty-five years ago, two young men graduated from the same college. For those of us who have participated in the investment arena for more than just the past couple of years, 2000 will likely go down as "not unprecedented and long overdue." For the investors who have come to the party more recently, it was a brutal, eye-opening, and sobering experience. Buying every dip didn't work. Dot-com IPOs didn't work. This year was truly a coming-of-age experience for millions of "adolescent" investors.
When done correctly, the deals can very easily be assimilated into your normal work day. As you do your other work, you take calls from tenant buyers on your properties, give them the information on the particular property they are calling on, qualify them, get credit checks done, and show property on your time schedule, not theirs. Again organization and time management skills come into play along with re-vamping your materials to work more efficiently.
